Year: 2015 (6th semester)
Project type: Experimental design of religious space
Location: unspecified (somewhere in Spain)
Tutor: Prof. dr. Iñigo Viar

Task
The task is to create an inter-meditation space for religion. A place open to any culture, where anyone can stay and think. It could involve any religion such as catholicism, evangelism, judaism, islam, hinduism, buddhism, jainism, sijism, taoism, etc.
Solution
The concept consist of three main parts. The building, located in the flat area looks like a line with some semi-hidden greenery. it makes the impression of question. By entering the building, people get into empty white surface with spacious rooms. Going further through the rooms they enter corridors which lead to a quiet, close, green, nature space with accidentally located forest in one side of the area.
Inner part
is dedicated for thinking. People can feel free to sit on the ground or on the sloped roof; to walk in the forest; to hide there; to communicate with others; to learn or share their knowledge. To feel more free, there is a possibility to leave shoes in wide corridors before entering.
Materiality
The finishing material of the building is pure concrete, making the most attention to thinking, not to decorations. Inner part is covered with sand or with grass. It depends on climate and location of the building.
